Ruben Mayer-Hirschfeld is a technology professional with experience in product management, operations, and entrepreneurship. He has held leadership roles in artificial intelligence companies, including Scale AI and Scout AI, and is a member of the Meta Superintelligence team. [2]
Mayer-Hirschfeld graduated from Stanford University in 2018, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics. [3]
Mayer-Hirschfeld began his career with a summer internship at Facebook in 2015 and a summer fellowship at Lightspeed Venture Partners in 2016. During his time as a fellow, he founded FameGame TV, a mobile entertainment platform he led until 2019. He then joined Scale AI as a product operations manager before moving into a product management role the following year. From 2020 to 2022, he served as the company's Director of Strategic Product Management. In 2022, Mayer-Hirschfeld co-founded Scout AI, which was acquired by Scale AI in 2023. Upon his return to Scale AI after the acquisition, he held senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Generative AI from 2023 to 2024 and Senior Vice President of Generative AI Product and Operations from 2024 to 2025. He subsequently joined Meta to work on its superintelligence initiatives. [1] [4]
