Education

Tamara Ringas attended the University of Cape Town from 2017 to 2021 where she studied for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Music Technology. Tamara has also taken various online courses from DataCamp and zk-Spark Bootcamp to learn about SQL, R, Python, and Computer Programming. ^[3]

Career

Tamara Ringas was a Solidity Developer at Linum Labs^[4], a software development studio for web3 and AI solutions. Here, she led, architected, and developed smart contract projects in Foundry & Hardhat across a spectrum of scopes. ^[3]

She is an Instructor at Web3 Sanctuary and a Zero-Knowledge Cryptography Mentor at Outlier Ventures. She mentors start-ups in the Outlier Ventures base camp leveraging Zero-Knowledge Cryptography to develop blockchain infrastructure, scaling & privacy, and implementations. ^[3]

In June 2023, she joined Alkimiya^[5] as a Senior Solidity Engineer where she primarily focuses on building and enhancing the smart contracts that underpin the protocol. ^[3]

Solidity Fridays

In September 2022, Tamara joined Solidity Fridays as a Show Host. Solidity Fridays is a weekly live-streaming series, streamed every Friday, that provides updates on recent advancements in the Web 3 domain, exploring engaging topics. ^[1]

Solidity Fridays premiered on the Twitch platform on November 12, 2021, with hosts Ben Sparks, Will Schwab, and Rory Simmonds, who are proficient in the programming language Solidity. Initially associated with Linum Labs^[4], a Swiss-South African blockchain development company affiliated with ETH Cape Town in 2019 and 2023, the hosts have since parted ways with Linum Labs. Their objective remains guiding early viewers through the latest developments in Web3 by navigating the complexities of code. ^[1][6]
