Interviews
NOIA Network
In an older interview with the Crypto Love podcast, Kazlauskas discussed the NOIA Network’s (now Synternet) ambition to decentralize content delivery networks (CDNs) using blockchain technology. He shared his background in asset management and how his experience led him to explore opportunities within the blockchain space. NOIA Network aims to utilize unused bandwidth from personal computers and data centers to create a more efficient CDN, likening its model to that of Uber as a service provider without owning the physical infrastructure. Kazlauskas outlined the importance of CDNs in reducing latency and buffering for video content online, highlighted cost advantages over traditional providers, and described the system's unique architecture involving nodes and a proprietary Content Scaling Layer. He also mentioned the ongoing development of their Minimum Viable Product and the upcoming ICO set for May 29, emphasizing the project's commitment to building a decentralized economy beneficial for all participants.
