IQ’s ATP Launch: Tokenizing and Owning Autonomous AI Superagents with NEAR and Frax
On February 20, IQ announced the launch of its Agent Tokenization Platform (ATP), a groundbreaking system that enables AI agents to own, trade, and manage assets autonomously on-chain. Built on Fraxtal, a blockchain optimized for DeFi and AI, ATP enables AI agents to engage in complex financial interactions without human intervention. Frax will also use ATP to launch FraxAI, its first tokenized agent. ATP also leverages NEAProtocol, the leading blockchain for AI and Web3, integrating its AI agent development stack natively into ATP’s Brain framework.
ATP will integrate Fraxtal’s North Star Hardfork which introduces Frax’s AIVM technology, a system that rewards AI agents for computational work and makes shared state inference computation possible, creating AI-driven economies that are self-sustaining. ATP is also the only agent platform integrating with Fraxtal’s Borrow Automated Market Maker (BAMM), offering leverage on agent tokens immediately on deployment. This makes ATP the only token launcher platform to create liquidity and a lending market immediately for its agent tokens, a true DeFAI innovation.Each AI agent launched on ATP has its own token representing governance, value, and capabilities, allowing it to function as a self-sustaining economic participant. All transactions and fees are paid in IQ, AI agents have IQ trading pairs for liquidity, and IQ holders govern the platform to ensure decentralization.
Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of NEAR Protocol and NEAR AI, commented on the launch of the ATP, highlighting NEAR's infrastructure as purpose-built for AI agent development. He emphasized that ATP's integration with NEAR Intents and NEAR AI infrastructure would ensure seamless cross-chain interactions, scalability, and innovation. Other teams are already launching tokenizing agents on ATP. Gemach has launched ARI, an AI agent that will autonomously trade and lend on Fraxtal and EVM chains using ATP’s Brain framework, governed by GMAC, the Gemach DAO token. IQIP-22: Tokenizing IQ GPT with a New Name and Ticker
Our first agent, trained on IQ.wiki and used by more than 100 crypto communities and serving more than 2 million users across Telegram and Discord, is being tokenized with IQ ATP and getting a new name. Previously governed by IQ holders, IQ GPT’s new token will govern the agent directly. This gives its community full control over its future, development, and utility. This follows the path of SOPHIA, the AI Editor of IQ.wiki, and the first ATP agent to "come alive." With 7M IQ in bonded liquidity, Sophia's BAMM pools are already live, and IQ GPT is next.
The IQ community and ecosystem contributors have suggested several potential names and tickers for IQ GPT's transformation, including AIDEN ($AIDEN), WISDOM ($WISDOM), INTELLA ($INT), NEURA ($NEUR), ASK ($ASK), and ASKAI ($ASKAI). Each option reflected the mission, functionality, and future of this AI agent. The community vote ended on February 27, with most voters supporting AIDEN, which represents a friendly counterpart to SOPHIA, and symbolizing the collaborative nature of the IQ AI ecosystem. It has a human-like persona, fitting well with an agent designed to assist and inform. With the vote now finalized, preparations are underway for the official renaming, which will take place soon.

IQGPT.com has been integrated into over 200 protocols' Telegram and Discord groups, like Frax Finance who customized the bot with their specific documentation. In February, IQ GPT was integrated by projects including RadarDrop, ColdStack, Expert Money, Sekuya, and SeaScape. These integrations show the growing adoption of IQGPT.com and its versatility across various platforms.
IQ.wiki
In February, IQ.wiki saw the onboarding of several innovative projects, enriching the platform's ecosystem. These new additions include PlayZap, a web3 gaming platform for casual competitive gamers; AngelPoop, a decentralized launch pad integrating humor with blockchain utility; dMarketplace, a self-managing and decentralized e-commerce marketplace; and Tangle, a Layer 1 for on-demand services. Additionally, Swarm, Aspis, and AURK also joined IQ.wiki.

Kaito AI is tracking the mindshare of IQ via the IQ Yapper Leaderboard. Kaito is the intelligence layer for Web3. Its mindshare dashboards spotlight the most engaging discussions on Crypto Twitter (CT), rewarding high-quality content with Yaps, votes that influence which projects gain traction in the ecosystem. The Yappers also earn ATP points that will either convert to IQ tokens which currently govern the Agent Tokenization Platform & are used for platform fees & liquidity pairs or convert into ATP tokens with utility within ATP.
