Education
Clo G attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) with a focus on Applied Mathematics and Cognitive Science. His studies, which took place from 2012 to 2017, provided a foundation for cross-disciplinary collaboration in technology and business. During his time at UCLA, Clo was actively involved in student organizations such as the Bruin Real Estate Association (BREA), where he served as Director of Professional Relations and Chief Marketing Officer, and Building Engineers and Mentors (BEAM), where he worked as Treasurer and Site Coordinator, managing budgets and facilitating STEM-focused activities for students in South Central Los Angeles.
Career
Clo G’s career began with an internship at Deloitte in early 2015, where he calculated and filed personal tax information for clients, including employees of companies affiliated with The Walt Disney Company and Bloomberg. This role provided him with early exposure to financial systems and data management.
Later in 2015, Clo worked as a Journalist for Gogo City Guide, exploring and documenting local designers, boutiques, and restaurants in Paris. He also attended Paris Fashion Week, gaining insights into the intersection of media, culture, and business.
From August 2013 to April 2016, Clo co-founded several ventures under Clo's Ventures. These included Beauty Talk, a social network platform for which he pitched to investors and developed a prototype for the Chinese market; a Pierre Hermé Franchise, where he negotiated terms with the Paris headquarters and developed a business plan for a new franchise; and Jack + Chloe, a baby care brand that launched advertising campaigns in China and executed social media marketing strategies.
In October 2014, Clo joined Perrin Paris, a luxury fashion brand, as Director of Asian Markets. During his tenure, he revitalized product engagement by 425% within 21 days on the fashion platform Polyvore, established partnerships with American Express and luxury hotels, and managed a $69 million revenue stream while overseeing global distribution operations.
From June 2017 to April 2018, Clo worked as a Business Analyst and Management Consultant at LAACMA Consulting. There, he advised senior executives in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, developed business strategies, and managed multi-million-dollar budgets. He also directed the development of internal systems for top-tier companies and supported startups in fundraising and business planning.
In January 2018, Clo joined the founding team of DLive, a blockchain-based live-streaming platform, as Head of Business Development and Global Strategy. His work contributed to the platform’s growth, particularly when PewDiePie, YouTube’s most popular creator at the time, chose DLive as his exclusive live-streaming platform.
From September 2017 to August 2019, Clo served as the CEO of DMedia Group Inc., a company focused on video content monetization in the blockchain space. DMedia provided solutions for content creators to distribute and monetize their work across blockchain-based platforms, supporting transactions in both cryptocurrency and traditional currency.
In June 2019, Clo became General Manager for the Americas at Contentos, a decentralized content ecosystem. During his tenure, he contributed to the development of the COS.TV app, which integrated with the Samsung Blockchain Wallet, and supported the platform’s Content AI Roadmap, aimed at building a decentralized content ecosystem powered by AI.
In September 2021, Clo co-founded CARV, a decentralized data verification protocol designed for gaming and artificial intelligence (AI). CARV operates through two primary components: the CARV Protocol, a modular data layer for secure cross-chain verification, and CARV Play, a gaming platform that allows users to monetize in-game achievements. Under his leadership, CARV has established partnerships with industry leaders such as Google Cloud and Bitget, achieving a $40 million valuation during its Series A funding round in 2024. The platform supports over 700 games and 2.5 million users, emphasizing data sovereignty and user-controlled monetization. [4] [3]
