Bitbank
Bitbank is a Cryptocurrency exchange that has its Servers Centers based in Japan and is fully licensed by the Japanese Financial Services Agency (JFSA). The Bitbank focuses on trading Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies against the local currency, the Japanese yen (JPY). As a security measure, the exchange allows users to set up 2FA[1][2].

Overview
Bitbank operates one of the first and biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in Japan. It was included in the first group of eleven exchanges that the Financial Services Agency approved in September 2017[3][4].
It was initially established in May 2014 under the name bitcheck, Inc. That same month, it also installed the first bitcoin ATM in Japan in Nishi Azabu, Tokyo, and unveiled a "bitcheck wallet service" to enable credit card purchases of bitcoin. Bitcheck Pay, Japan's first bitcoin payment service, was launched in September 2014.
Services
Following a name change to bitbank, Inc., the business introduced the following services:
- In October 2014, bitbank Trade, a BTCUSD futures exchange, started trading.
- In October 2014, the cryptocurrency media company BTCN was established.
- Blockchain Daigakko, a blockchain and cryptocurrency education business, launched in June 2016. It is the only service created as a wholly owned subsidiary.
