Founded Wake, a design collaboration tool for sharing work and obtaining feedback, which was later acquired and eventually shut down.

Joined Facebook's design team, where he contributed to growth initiatives, Graph Search, and Messenger.

Co-founded the cryptocurrency wallet Phantom with colleagues he met at 0x, serving as the Chief Product Officer.

After Wake was shut down, Kalani joined the crypto startup 0x for three years, where he served as GM for Matcha and met his future co-founders of Phantom.
