Denelle Dixon Is the Chief Executive Director at Stellar Development Foundation. She is previously a Senior Legal Director at Yahoo and she has worked as the Chief Business, Legal Officer, and Chief operating officer at Mozilla. She graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and she presently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.^[1]

Education

Dixion earned her bachelor's degree education with the University of California, Davis and she graduated from the institution in 1992 with a bachelor of arts degree in Political science

. She also earned a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Career

Dixion worked as a Senior Legal Director for Yahoo between February 207 and February 2010. During this period, she worked closely with business on product review and product strategy for the front page, messenger, mail, and media; managed a team of lawyers working with properties; managed copyright strategy and policy. She later joined Terra firma as the Director – US legal strategy for more than two years.^[2]

She spent eight years working with Mozilla after leaving Terra Firma in September 2002. During this period she assumed a lot of roles from an Associate General Counsel to Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs. She also served as Chief Business and Legal Officer, and as the Chief operating officer where she oversaw the teams that manage the revenue, strategy, legal, business and partnerships, information technology, open innovation, policy, trust and security, workplace resources, and cross-functional operations.^[3]

Dixion joined Stellar Development Foundation in March 2019 and she is currently the Chief Executive Director. She is responsible for leading and working with the team to build Stellar Network with the mission of “global financial inclusion”.^[4]
