Gawin Dapper is the Chief technology officer at Request. He is a technologist, an engineer who has established himself in the technology industry creating award-winning innovations.^[1] He has been actively involved in technology sector for about twenty years.^[2]

Education

Much information about his early, basic and primary education is not currently known to media sources, but after a successful completion of elementary levels of education, he went further to the University of Twente where he studied Business Information Technology between 2002 and 2007,^[3] while in the university he was also actively involved with occupying student assistant positions.^[4]

Career

He started out in career with a summer job at ARPA in 1996 as a web developer which was his first major programming job while working with them, he successfully designed a prototype for the company’s website and also did data entry and user testing.  He moved on from ARPA to join Cap Gemini Ernst and Young in 2001 spending just four months with the company where he worked as consultant before going on to take the post of Chairman in Stichting National Informatics in 2005 where he spent just about 11 months helping to establish the company’s organizational structure, giving allowance to the creation of future events.^[5]

Dapper later took up a teaching job as an assistant teacher in the University of Twente running simultaneously with other professional engagements between October 2004 and October 2007, during his stay in the university he was also able to come up with course materials for several bachelor and master courses.^[6][7]  He joined Digital Traffic a company he co-founded and was the Chief technology officer between August 2004 and January 2008 where he was able to lead the company growing it to about 50 FTE after starting out with just flash websites and games for clients with a presence in the entertainment industry (MTV, TMF, Bacardi, Sanoma and a long list of Dutch nightclubs) was transformed through his leadership to a company that stood tall in the financial industry.^[8]

After working for and also founding several companies some of which are CYSO, Phonebloks which was later acquired by Google, coaching other CTO's, Designed teamily.com, travelling the world and creating the Nomad Family community and also working for 3D Hubs, he took up a job in Request a the Chief technology officer helping the blockchain technology company to reach a $1,000,0000 milestone also launching products Request Create and Request Pay
