Education

Jake Brukhman studied mathematics and computer science at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, earning a bachelor’s degree between 2001 and 2005. During his undergraduate studies, he also attended University College London in 2003, where he pursued coursework in mathematics. He later continued his education at New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences from 2005 to 2007, focusing on advanced studies in mathematics. ^[3]

Jake Brukhman is the founder and chief executive officer of CoinFund, a New York–based investment platform established in 2015 that focuses on blockchain technology and digital assets. In this role, he oversees the firm’s investment strategy and organizational direction. Prior to CoinFund, he was a partner at Triton Research between 2014 and 2016, where he was involved in private equity research and analysis.

Earlier in his career, Brukhman worked at Amazon from 2012 to 2014 as a technical product lead, contributing to product development and engineering for self-service advertising and payments systems. Before joining Amazon, he served as an associate in technology at Highbridge Capital Management, where he worked on the design and scaling of trading systems.
