Kevin Jones

Kevin Jones is a developer, entrepreneur, and technology professional working in infrastructure, AI security, and decentralized communications. He is the founder of 1Claw, co-founder of Spritz Chat, and a Developer Relations Engineer at Edge & Node, with prior experience in product management, cloud infrastructure, and developer technologies. [4]

Career

Jones began his career in technology and consumer electronics, spending more than fourteen years at Best Buy in a variety of technical and customer-facing roles. He later transitioned into infrastructure and operations engineering, joining YP in 2013, where he worked as a Site Reliability Engineer and was subsequently promoted to Lead Site Reliability Engineer. In these roles, he focused on maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and scalability of large-scale web platforms.

In 2015, Jones joined NGINX as a Sales Engineer and advanced through several technical and product-focused positions, including Technical Solutions Architect, Global Product Specialist, and Global Solutions Architect. Following NGINX’s acquisition by F5 Networks, he continued in solution architecture roles before becoming a Senior Product Manager in 2019. Across these positions, he worked on application delivery, cloud infrastructure, developer technologies, and product strategy for enterprise customers.

Alongside his technology career, Jones has operated Kevin Jones Creates since 2016, producing photography and filmmaking projects. In 2023, he joined Edge & Node as a Developer Relations Engineer, focusing on developer education, ecosystem engagement, and adoption of decentralized technologies. He later co-founded Spritz Chat in 2025 and founded 1Claw in 2026. His career spans site reliability engineering, solutions architecture, product management, developer relations, entrepreneurship, and digital media production. [2]

Interviews

Dev Club

In an April 2026 session with the Logos Dev Club, Jones discussed developments in decentralized messaging, , and infrastructure, highlighting his work with Spritz Chat, Edge & Node, and 1Claw. He described new features in Spritz Chat, including its use of Logos messaging protocols and encrypted communications, while also presenting 1Claw as a security platform for that combines hardware security modules (HSMs), multi-party computation (MPC), secret management, and protections against prompt injection and related attack vectors. Jones examined the broader evolution of AI-enabled development, noting that modern tooling has significantly simplified and application development compared with earlier stages of the ecosystem. He also discussed emerging frameworks for that address areas such as security, identity, payments, runtime management, and discoverability. The session included live demonstrations of encrypted messaging, secret management workflows, and Logos integrations, as well as discussion of hackathon development practices, including the use of AI-assisted tools, rapid prototyping frameworks, and strategies for building . Deploying AI Agents

In an April 2026 presentation on his YouTube channel, Jones demonstrated how to deploy using Pinata's OpenClaw Agents Launchpad and the 1Claw security platform. He walked through the setup process, including creating from templates, configuring integrations with AI providers, enrolling , and managing credentials required for operation. The presentation focused on security and secret management features available through 1Claw, including hardware security module (HSM) storage, multi-party computation (MPC) key management across cloud environments, secret redaction, traffic inspection, and policy-based controls. Jones also showed how could securely manage credentials and private keys without exposing sensitive information, while supporting functions such as task scheduling, model configuration, communication channels, and automated secret generation. The demonstration illustrated how these tools can be used to build and operate with enhanced security controls for and cloud-based applications. [6]

Presentations

Future of AI Security

In a May 2026 presentation for the ECH Institute, Jones discussed the growing security challenges facing AI systems and applications, noting that the time between system compromise and exploitation has decreased significantly as attacks have become more automated. He outlined the security requirements of and , including secret management, transaction security, identity controls, and protection against prompt injection and other AI-specific attack vectors.

Jones used 1Claw as an example of an infrastructure platform designed to address these challenges through secure credential storage, hardware security module (HSM) integration, transaction simulation, traffic inspection, and multi-party computation for key management. He also described features such as identity management, granular access controls, support for numerous networks, and integration with external AI providers. Throughout the presentation, he emphasized the importance of proactive security measures, privacy protections, and secure transaction workflows as become increasingly integrated with -based systems.
