Niki Ariyasinghe is a global executive with expertise in blockchain technology, business development, and traditional finance. Niki Ariyasinghe earned a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He previously completed a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree at The Australian National University. [3]
Niki Ariyasinghe’s career has spanned management consulting, financial services, digital assets, and blockchain infrastructure, with senior leadership roles across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and global markets. He began his professional career at Accenture Strategy (2007–2010), where he worked as a management consultant advising clients on corporate strategy, operations, and mergers and acquisitions, primarily within financial services and the public sector.
He subsequently joined ING Australia, serving as Strategy and Planning Manager (2010–2012) and later as Head of Strategy and Planning (2012–2014). In these roles, he was involved in long-term strategic planning, financial forecasting, and the development of new business lines, working closely with senior executives and the board.
In 2016, Ariyasinghe transitioned into the digital asset sector as Business Development Lead at Abra, an early peer-to-peer payments company built on blockchain technology, where he focused on partnerships and market entry initiatives. He later joined R3, holding leadership roles including Director of Business Development, Asia-Pacific (2016–2017), and Head of Strategic Alliances and Partner Sales, Asia-Pacific and Middle East (2017–2021), supporting enterprise adoption of distributed ledger technology.
Since 2021, Ariyasinghe has held senior roles at Chainlink Labs. He served as Global Head of Partnerships (2021–2023), followed by Head of Business Development, Asia-Pacific and Middle East (2023–2025). In January 2026, he was appointed Vice President, Asia-Pacific and Middle East, where he oversees regional strategy, partnerships, and ecosystem development for decentralized oracle and blockchain infrastructure services.
