Radoslav Albrecht is a Berlin-based CEO and Founder of Bitbond, an infrastructure provider and expert in asset tokenization and digital assets. He is also a Member of the Supervisory Board for the University of Witten/Herdecke. [1][5]
Education
Albrecht attended the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt where he studied Business Administration and Management, General from 2003 to 2005. Afterward, he attended the University of Warwick as a visiting student in Business/Managerial Economics until 2006. In 2009, he graduated from the University of Witten/Herdecke with a Master's degree in Economics or Business/Managerial Economics. [2]
Career
Radoslav Albrecht began his career as an Intern at Detecon International GmbH in 2006. In 2007, he served as an Analyst Intern at Analyst Intern at Greenhill & Co. and then he was hired as an Analyst in Deutsche Bank. [3][6]
In 2009, he joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a Senior Consultant where he was responsible for restructuring and strategy consulting projects in financial and manufacturing industries until December 2012. He serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board for the University of Witten/Herdecke. [3]
Albrecht founded Bitbond in 2013 and serves as the CEO of the company. Bitbond supports its users with leading tokenization infrastructure and expertise. The company conducted Germany's first Security Token Offering with a BaFin-approved prospectus in 2019, pioneering the way financial markets work.

He detailed a collaboration with ABN Amro, where the bank issued tokenized corporate bonds using Bitbond's technology. The project began with an internal pilot to address the technical and legal aspects of tokenization, culminating in a successful real-world issuance of a €400,000 bond for APOC, an aviation parts company, with institutional investors involved.
