# History 
 
SuperVerse originated from the project SuperFarm, initiated by [Ellio Trades](https://iq.wiki/wiki/elliotrades) in 2021. Initially, SuperFarm concentrated on merging the [NFT](https://iq.wiki/wiki/non-fungible-token-nft) industry with [Decentralized Finance](https://iq.wiki/wiki/defi) [(DeFi)](https://iq.wiki/wiki/defi) principles, providing novel avenues for individuals to interact with digital assets. The asymptotic nature of the [DAO](https://iq.wiki/wiki/dao) [staking](https://iq.wiki/wiki/staking) mechanism ensures emissions gradually converge to a stable state.
