Zachary Kilgore
Zachary Kilgore is the Co-founder of Flexa, the developer company behind Ampera, a grassroots payments initiative, anchored by the AMP collateral token. He is also the Technical Lead at the Acronym Foundation (AF). [1][2][4]
Education
Kilgore attended Duke University for a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from 2002 to 2006. [1][3][4]
Career
Zachary Kilgore was the Director of Software Engineering at Slide, a digital prepaid app for iOS and Android that allowed users buy, store, and manage gift cards. Slide was acquired by Raise in 2016 for an undisclosed amount. [5]
Kilgore served as the Engineering Lead of Raise, a gift card marketplace, post-acquisition until 2018. [1]
In March 2018, Kilgore co-founded Flexa, a digital payments network alongside Tyler Spalding, and served as the Principal Engineer/CISO of the company. [6]
He also leads open-source spending projects for the Acronym Foundation, an independent organization that operates as a not-for-profit, with an initial donation of AMP tokens from Flexa Network, Inc. [7]
