Background
BrainDAO is currently working on building ATP, a platform for builders to create tokenized agents that operate autonomously and are fully enshrined on-chain. IQ holders will directly benefit since as more agents are created and used, greater transaction fees will be generated, which are paid in IQ with a portion going to stakers and a portion burned.
Tesla Optimus bots, capable of autonomously performing tasks in the physical world, offer an unprecedented opportunity to showcase the capabilities of these tokenized agents. By merging on-chain AI with real-world robotics, this initiative will highlight how IQ-powered agents can address real-world challenges.
Proposal Details
The proposal seeks to allocate up to $1 million in FRAX to purchase up to 30 Tesla Optimus bots. These bots will be programmed to operate using the AI models of the most successful tokenized agents launched with the Agent Tokenization Platform. Tokenized agents will be selected based on their market capitalization, functionality, and suitability for real-world tasks, ensuring the bots effectively represent the platform’s potential. The Optimus bots will be used in public demonstrations to showcase the integration of on-chain AI with robotics, increasing visibility and engagement with the IQ ecosystem.The BrainDAO treasury has as of writing approximately $40 million in total assets and over $4 million in FRAX stablecoins. BrainDAO can use approximately $900,000 of treasury funds to purchase 30 or more Optimus bots depending on the price. The estimated cost per bot is $20,000 to $30,000, leaving room within the $1 million budget for associated operational expenses. Any unused funds will remain in the treasury. This proposal does not involve any changes to IQ tokenomics since the funds for this initiative are already in the BrainDAO treasury.
If this proposal passes, BrainDAO will contact Tesla about pre-ordering 30 Optimus bots. Elon Musk has said, “Tesla will have genuinely useful humanoid robots in low production for Tesla internal use next year and, hopefully, high production for other companies in 2026.” While pre-orders or purchases are not currently if the proposal passes it will allow BrainDAO to quickly buy the Optimus bots as soon as they become available.
If Tesla accepts cryptocurrency from DAOs for Optimus pre-orders and/or purchases, BrainDAO will use approximately $900,000 of its stablecoins to buy the bots. If they do not, BrainDAO will work with the IQ Company which supports IQ development to acquire the bots using fiat currency.

This initiative will establish IQ as a pioneer with IQ’s ATP becoming the first platform for builders to integrate blockchain-based AI with robotics, setting a new standard for innovation in both fields.
