Raymond Qu
Raymond Qu is a technology and business executive with a background spanning enterprise technology, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, and blockchain. He is a Co-founder of PolyFlow and previously held business development and management roles at ChinaNetCenter, Dell, and 3Com. [4]
Education
Qu graduated from Zhejiang University with a Bachelor’s in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology in 1988. He later earned a Graduate degree in Industrial Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in 2004. [2]
Career
Qu began his career at Sun Microsystems, where he worked as a Training Consultant from April 1998 to August 1999, providing training related to Sun Solaris and networking. From September 1999 to March 2002, he worked at 3Com as a System Engineer and Project Manager, serving as a System Engineer from 1999 to 2000 before managing the China Unicom VOIP project from 2000 to 2002. He then joined Dell in October 2002 as an Enterprise Service Manager, leading a technical support team through 2007, before becoming a Business Development Manager II focused on internet services from 2007 to 2009. In that role, he worked on service revenue development with major Chinese internet companies including Baidu, Sohu, and Sina.
In June 2010, Qu joined ChinaNetCenter as Business Development Director, working with major internet companies and developing service revenue for the company's CDN and IDC businesses. He became Sales Director in January 2013, leading a large-account sales team serving major internet companies in northern China. From January 2015 to November 2016, he served as Vice General Manager of ChinaNetCenter's Beijing branch, where he led a team focused on large internet accounts in northern China. He later moved into the blockchain sector as a Co-founder of PolyFlow, where his work has included developing infrastructure that connects cryptocurrency payments with decentralized finance. [2]
