Sean Rowan, originally from Ireland, was the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Flare Network, a layer 1 blockchain with an emphasis on promoting secure interoperability among various blockchain platforms. His connection with Nairi Usher and Hugo Philion was established during their time at University College London.[1][2]
Education
Sean Rowan pursued his education at UCL, where he completed a Master of Science in Machine Learning from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, spanning the years 2012 to 2016[1]
Career
Sean Rowan commenced his position at Flare Network in September 2017 where he served as a Co-founder and left the company in August 2024. [3]
During this tenure, he also served as the Chief Technology Officer for five years, from May 2018 to April 2023. [1]
