Tomer Bar has a background in cybersecurity research, penetration testing, and technical leadership. He began his career in IT and systems implementation roles in Israel, including positions at John Bryce and Western Digital between 2016 and 2017. He later transitioned into offensive security, working as a penetration tester and security researcher at BugSec from 2017 to 2020, where he progressed to leading penetration testing teams.
From 2020 to 2022, Bar served in senior technical roles at Cilinx, initially as a penetration testing team leader and later as chief technology officer, overseeing security operations and technical strategy. He joined CYE in 2022 as a cloud security researcher and was subsequently promoted to engineering management, contributing to research and development in cloud security until mid-2023. In 2023, Bar co-founded HackStack, focusing on security tooling and infrastructure, and in April 2024 he became chief technology officer at Auditware, where he works on security-focused product development and technical oversight.
