The Rollup was initially established as "DeFi Slate" in 2020 by Robbie Klages and Andy C. Robbie, with a background in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Florida, discovered crypto through online poker in 2016 and soon became an active participant in the industry. His experience includes attending and speaking at over 25 flagship crypto conferences globally. Andy, a self-made entrepreneur, initially ventured into online marketing before fully immersing himself in the blockchain space. The team decided to rebrand to The Rollup as their focus expanded beyond DeFi to cover broader aspects of blockchain technology and digital finance. [2]
