History

A $5.6 million funding round supported the development of MyShell Chain, a Layer 2 blockchain optimized for AI operations, which became operational in mid-2024. The platform’s architecture consists of three components:
- Decentralized Infrastructure: MyShell Chain, a zk-Rollup-based blockchain, processes up to 2,000 transactions per second. Computational resources are allocated through a decentralized marketplace where participants exchange GPU power for SHELL tokens. Agent ownership and revenue-sharing rules are enforced via NFTs and smart contracts.2. AI Development Tools: MyShell provides access to over 20 pre-trained models, including large language models (LLMs) and voice synthesis systems. A voice cloning feature replicates vocal patterns using 30-second audio inputs. Developers may combine models or train custom versions using specialized datasets.3. SHELL Token
The SHELL token operates as a utility and governance asset within the MyShell ecosystem. Its total supply is fixed at 1 billion units, with allocations distributed as follows: 40% to community rewards, 25% to developers, 20% to investors, and 15% to treasury reserves.
