Amy Zhang is a financial industry executive who serves as the Head of APAC and Vice President of Sales, Asia at Fireblocks, an enterprise platform for digital asset infrastructure. With experience spanning both traditional finance (TradFi) and the digital asset sector since approximately 2011, she has held roles at major financial institutions including Deutsche Bank and Bank of America, as well as digital asset firm Diginex. Amy Zhang began her career in the financial industry at Bank of America, where she worked as a Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing (QA/UAT) Analyst. She later joined CIBC World Markets, serving as an analyst in fixed income, currencies, and distribution. She subsequently worked as an Investment Analyst at Periscope Capital, supporting investment research and portfolio analysis.
Zhang later joined Deutsche Bank, where she held roles in Global Prime Finance Sales in New York and as an Equity Sales Trader in Hong Kong. In these positions, she provided execution and sales coverage to institutional clients across cash equities, derivatives, and electronic trading platforms.
She transitioned into the digital asset sector with Diginex, a publicly listed digital asset financial services company, where she worked in investor relations and later served as Head of Sales, Markets. Her responsibilities included supporting the expansion of custody, trading, and exchange-related business lines.
Since 2020, Zhang has been with Fireblocks, where she has held senior leadership roles across the Asia-Pacific region, including Vice President of Sales for Asia and Head of APAC.
