0xc4ad finds the Curve DAO and token ready to deploy on Github and deploys it on Ethereum mainnet. Curve team verifies the deployment and adopts.

The Curve team publish the whitepaper for v2 before launching it the same month, offering the ability to cater to non-pegged assets as well as pegged assets.
