Education

Fedor Chmilev attended the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) from 2009 to 2015, where he completed his higher education. [2] [4]

Career

Chmilev began his professional career working at Yandex, one of Russia's largest technology companies. He later joined EPAM Systems, where he worked on projects for Google, gaining valuable experience in large-scale technology implementations, which served as a basis for later work with technology.

His career path then led him to Revolut, a leading fintech company, where he further developed his expertise in financial technology solutions. This experience provided him with insights into both traditional finance and emerging financial technologies that would later inform his work in the space.

Before co-founding Resolv Labs, Chmilev worked at a stealth startup, where he likely continued to develop his skills in financial technology and applications.

In 2023, Chmilev co-founded Resolv Labs, establishing the company in the British Virgin Islands. The company has since developed a unique architecture for its protocol.

Resolv Labs Protocol

Under Chmilev's leadership, Resolv Labs has developed a protocol with two core pools:

  1. Collateral Pool: This main pool ensures the backing of the USR in a 1:1 ratio while offering crypto-native yield for USR stakers. It comprises stablecoins, USD-neutral assets (USCC tokens), and ETH inventory delegated by users via USR .
  2. Resolv Liquidity Pool: This reserve pool is designed to absorb risks related to delta-hedging strategies, such as / exposure or funding rates volatility. Users can stake to mint a yield-bearing token RSV with higher yield compared to classic USR stablecoin staking.

The protocol has undergone multiple security audits, including reviews by MixBytes, Pessimistic, and Pashov Audit Group, demonstrating a commitment to security and reliability.

Chmilev and his team have designed RESOLV as the for the platform. According to the project documentation, this token will be used for community voting, incentivizing campaigns, and funding bug bounty programs and other community-sourced protocol support.

The platform has been running a points farming campaign, suggesting a potential RESOLV in the future. Additionally, an upcoming token sale has appeared on Legion Launchpad, indicating the token's imminent release and (ICO).
