James Seyffart graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance and Accounting.

Seyffart began his career at Bloomberg L.P., initially in the Bloomberg Terminal Sales & Analytics department before moving into research analyst roles.

With his colleague Eric Balchunas, Seyffart co-authored the book 'The Bogle Effect: How John Bogle and Vanguard Turned Wall Street Inside Out and Saved Investors Trillions'.

Seyffart became a leading voice tracking and analyzing the approval process for spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States, which were ultimately approved by the SEC.
