Career
Paul Hsu’s career spans venture capital, operating roles at technology companies, and the founding of an investment firm focused on emerging technologies. He began his professional career at Merrill Lynch, working in technology mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He later joined NeoCarta Ventures, where he spent nearly a decade as an investor and advisor, participating in the management and deployment of a venture fund focused on early
- and mid-stage technology and media companies.
From 2009 to 2015, Hsu held senior business operations, product, and growth roles at Zynga during a period of rapid expansion around the company’s public listing. He subsequently served as chief operating officer at Fancy and later at Homepolish, where his responsibilities centered on scaling operations and supporting growth-stage technology businesses.
In 2018, Hsu founded Decasonic, where he serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer. The firm focuses on venture and digital asset investing, with an emphasis on blockchain-related technologies.
