Sujay Jaladi
Sujay Jaladi is an information security executive with extensive experience leading security, risk, and compliance programs at fintech and technology companies. He is the Vice President of Security at FalconX and a member of the Forbes Technology Council. [1] [2]
Education
Jaladi holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. He later earned a Master of Science in Industrial Technology (MSIT) from California State University, Fresno. He has pursued further professional development, obtaining a certificate in Advanced Computer Security from Stanford University and completing specialized training in cloud security through the Cloud Security Alliance. In 2016, he completed a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. [3]
Career
Jaladi began his career in information security at Hightail from 2007 to 2011, where he worked on security program development, compliance initiatives, vulnerability management, and incident response. He then served as Director of Security Architecture at Xoom Corporation from 2011 to 2014, overseeing enterprise security strategy, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery planning, and audit coordination. From 2014 to 2016, he was Vice President of Information Security at Prosper Marketplace, directing platform and application security, compliance management, and secure software development lifecycle efforts. He subsequently served as Chief Information Security Officer at Gusto from 2016 to 2017, where he implemented security strategy and cloud infrastructure controls.
Between 2017 and 2019, Jaladi held senior security roles at Ripple, including as Head of Global Security and Chief Information Security Officer for its subsidiary, XRP II, LLC. His responsibilities included enterprise security governance, regulatory compliance, incident response, and oversight of product and infrastructure security. In 2019, he briefly served as Chief Information Security Officer at Harbor, later acquired by BitGo, before joining EarnIn as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, where he managed security, enterprise risk, and IT operations through 2021.
Since December 2021, Jaladi has served as Vice President of Security at FalconX. In August 2024, he joined the Forbes Technology Council. [1] [2]
