PANONY
In 2018, Tongtong Bee co-founded PANONY alongside Alyssa Tsai and Stella Kung. [1]
PANONY is an incubator, investor, and advisor for cryptocurrency and blockchain businesses. The organization assists startups worldwide with launches through go-to-market strategies and consults Fortune 500 companies for their integration and expansion to the industry. PANONY was established in March 2018 with operations in Greater China, South Korea, and the U.S. [2]
Tongtong Bee also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of PANONY's independent arm, PANews. PANews is a business news outlet that produces content with actionable insights in assisting entrepreneurs, founders, and C-suites in identifying key developments in the Asian blockchain industry. [4]
When asked by Cointelegraph what the single most innovative use case for blockchain she'd ever seen, Tongtong Bee responded:
"Being part of Panony and PANews, we always feel excited to meet and work with hundreds of brilliant, innovative projects worldwide. For example, I’m personally intrigued with what they’re doing at Cudos, a decentralized cloud computing platform. We know that the cloud is pricey and centralized.
In addition, up to 50% of the time, the hardware is inactive or switched off, resulting in low return on investment for enterprises and an enormous carbon footprint. Thus, the current development trajectory is unsustainable for the planet."[5]
Forbes 30 Under 30
In April 2020, Tongtong Bee & her co-founder Alyssa Tsai made it into the “Forbes 30 under 30 Asia” 2020 edition in the category of “Media, Marketing & Advertising”. The recognition also had PANONY prominently featured as one of the few blockchain-related companies in the year’s list. [3]
