Bucket Protocol integrated a Peg Stability Module (PSM) to enhance the stablecoin's peg to the US Dollar, allowing for 1:1 swaps with other approved stablecoins like USDC.

As part of a major protocol upgrade, the native stablecoin was rebranded from its original name, BUCK, to USDB to signify a stronger and clearer stablecoin for the Sui ecosystem.

According to CoinGecko data, USDB experienced significant volatility, recording both its all-time high of $1.04 and its all-time low of $0.878 on the same day.
