Early Life & Education

Wendy was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California. She graduated with a BA in Business Administration - Marketing Concentration in 2020. ^[2]

Background

WendyO's journey into cryptocurrency and blockchain began in 2017, driven by a recognition of the transformative potential of blockchain technology to enhance global living standards and reshape the finance industry. ^[4]

Prior to her going into crypto, WendyO held a position in healthcare at the world's largest infectious disease company. In this role, she managed the care of over 300 patients monthly, spanning diverse cultural backgrounds and demographics. Notably, she spearheaded the implementation of a new CRM database and training system on a national scale, culminating in the integration of social media marketing strategies to attract and retain clients.

In the summer of 2018, she transitioned full-time into cryptocurrency documenting her journey on 'The O Show'^[3] while finishing her degree in Business and Marketing. ^[4]

“I just was myself, and I was authentic online. I hosted meetups, I defended people, I went after jerks [online]. I trashed the SEC and kind of stood up for the people and powered people, and I just grew my audience organically,” she says.

“I just was doing it because I wanted to really help the underdogs and help people who grew up poor, like I did, and people that came from really fucked up backgrounds to know that they can join any industry they want and thrive.”^[9]
