Career

Traditional Finance

Nam began her career in October 2015 at the Korea Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives, also known as Saemaul Geumgo. For over three years, until February 2019, she served as an Assistant Manager at the branch dedicated to employees of SK hynix, located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. In this role, she was part of the management and operations team for the employee credit union. ^[1]​

In February 2019, she transitioned to Kyobo Securities, where she held the position of Assistant for three years and eight months, concluding her tenure in September 2022. Her combined roles at Saemaul Geumgo and Kyobo Securities account for over seven years of experience in the South Korean financial industry. ^{[1] [2]}​

Web3 and Blockchain

Nam's entry into the Web3 space began around January 2022 with her membership in the crypto community nonce. Her first major professional role in the industry came in September 2023, when she was appointed Head of Starknet Asia for the Starknet ecosystem. During her eight-month tenure, which ended in April 2024, she led regional growth initiatives for the Layer 2 scaling solution under the community brand starknet.asia. ^{[1] [2]}​

Following her work with Starknet, Nam joined Nibiru Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain, in April 2024. As the Asia Growth and Korea Lead, she was responsible for spearheading the chain's growth and market penetration strategies within the Asian market, with a specific focus on South Korea.
