Bond Protocol integrates IQ.wiki Pages

We are excited to announce that Bond Protocol, the leading DeFi protocol for bond services, has automatically embedded IQ.wiki content on its live bond market. This allows Bond Protocol users to quickly learn about tokens from IQ.wiki’s crowdsourced knowledge before purchasing bonds. Bond Protocol uses its Token Address API to automatically embed the relevant cryptocurrency wikis on bond pages. This integration is a great example of the value of IQ.wiki’s database of content for DeFi users like the Bond Protocol community and sets the stage for future integrations.
Bond Protocol, as a permissionless system, enables the creation of Olympus-style bond markets for various token pairs. Since its launch in 2022, following the success of Olympus DAO's bond service, Bond Protocol has been dedicated to becoming a neutral and permissionless platform focused solely on providing Bonds-as-a-Service to meet the needs of the DeFi community.
In January 2023, IQ Bonds went live on the Bond Protocol. Our decision to migrate from Olympus Pro to Bond Protocol was driven by the latter's permissionless, composable, and modular nature. To acquire IQ Bonds, IQ holders can supply WETH and bond it with the dapp. In return for offering IQ at a discounted price, the bonds distribute IQ to bondholders over a 5-day vesting period. Furthermore, the bonds enable the IQ protocol to acquire WETH for the BrainDAO treasury.
IQ.wiki content is now embedded in several multimillion-dollar bond markets on Bond Protocol. IQ.wiki is the leader in crypto knowledge, expect to see more integrations. IQIP 20: Building EOAI (Enshrined On-chain AI) with IQ and Implementing Token Burning
While DeFi has become the dominant use case for Ethereum and other leading blockchains it still has a small user base compared to the traditional financial system. As of 2021, around 76% of the global adult population (approximately 5.3 billion people) had a bank account or access to formal financial services. In contrast, DeFi reached a high of 7.5 million monthly active addresses in 2021 and as of 2024 is still below 7 million people even though over 600 million people hold cryptocurrency.
