Ethan Chang is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of o1.exchange, a company that is developing the first comprehensive trading terminal integrating spot, perpetual, and prediction markets on Base and Solana. ^[1]​

Education

Ethan Chang studied Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, he participated in a pre-college program in Economics at Stanford University in 2017. ^[3]

Career

Ethan Chang is a software engineer and technology executive with experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development. Since 2024, he has served as Chief Technology Officer of o1.exchange, where he oversees the platform’s technical development.

Before joining o1.exchange, Chang was a Lead AI/ML Engineer at Niantic, working on artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. In 2023, he co-founded Datalance and also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at DeepMotion.

Earlier in his career, he held software engineering roles at Salesforce, Square, and SAP, contributing to product and platform development. While studying at the University of California, Berkeley, he participated in entrepreneurial and technology-focused organizations, including Convergent, where he helped co-found a news recommendation startup, and Entrepreneurs@Berkeley.
