Career

Jamie King is a marketing executive, entrepreneur, and video game industry veteran whose career has spanned interactive entertainment, esports, digital media, and -related ventures. He co-founded Rockstar Games in 1997 and served as Vice President of Development until 2006. During his tenure, he contributed to the company's expansion and was involved in the development, publishing, and strategic direction of franchises including Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, Bully, The Warriors, and Red Dead Revolver. He also participated in the development of Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE) and held executive production and leadership roles across numerous video game releases. [1] [2]

After leaving Rockstar Games, King served as Chief Product Officer at 4MM Games from 2007 to 2011, where he helped develop and market interactive entertainment products, including the music video game Def Jam Rapstar. He later joined SA Studios Global, where he led gaming and esports initiatives and contributed to the creation of Major League Soccer's esports competition, eMLS. Following the acquisition of SA Studios Gaming by Engine Shop in 2018, he became Executive Vice President and Head of Esports, overseeing gaming-focused marketing, partnerships, and business development activities. From 2021 to 2024, King served as Executive Vice President of Product and Marketing at Solace Lifesciences, where he managed product strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and customer experience programs. He has also acted as a strategic advisor to organizations including Metacade, Sporting Crypto, WanderLabs, and L+R, providing guidance on product development, brand positioning, and growth strategies. Since 2024, King has been Chief Marketing Officer of Minutes Network, a decentralized telecommunications infrastructure platform, where he oversees marketing and commercial strategy.
