Education

Bryce Paul attended UC Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2012 where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media in 2016. He also attended Freie Universität Berlin in 2014 where he studied Film/Media. ^[1][4]

Career

In January 2021, Bryce founded Tower 18 Capital, a DeFi-focused crypto hedge fund and he serves as the Chief Investment Officer of the company. ^[1][2]

In January 2020, Bryce Paul started at Crypto 101 as a Co-owner and a Co-host. Crypto 101 is a podcast^[5], YouTube channel^[6], and community of cryptocurrency individuals on a mission to bring crypto & blockchain technology to the mainstream. ^[1][4]

Bryce Paul co-hosts Crypto 101 alongside Brendan Viehman and Matt Polvi. The YouTube channel has over 12,000 subscribers and 700 videos, ranging from educational interviews of leaders in the space to understanding the newest forms of breaking news. The channel is a space for crypto, web3, blockchain, and NFT education content. ^[2]

Crypto Revolution is a book written by Bryce Paul and Aaron Malone. The book is a guide to the future of money and it explains important takeaways from the continued growth of digital currencies and blockchain technology. It explores the transformative possibilities of borderless payments, decentralized finance (‘DeFi’), and machine-to-machine transactions. The book is written in accessible language, examining the key value proposition of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and how decentralized technologies could enable banks and financial institutions to become more efficient. ^[3]
