Matsuura began his career as a business partnerships manager at GU Rocketry in 2021, where he focused on procurement and securing sponsorship deals, particularly collaborating with the propulsion team. In 2023, he took on a part-time role at MoonBase DAO Corp, where he created pitch decks, developed business plans, and managed partnership relations. Matsuura founded SAKEbito, a company that promotes Japanese sake culture in Europe by integrating Web3 technologies.
