Send is a privacy-focused payments platform that lets users send, save, and earn digital money from a smartphone, built primarily on the Base network and expanding onto the Canton Network.[1] It offers a mobile-first experience through a Progressive Web App and native iOS and Android applications, and its ecosystem includes the Send App, Pool Party decentralized exchange, Send Safe multisig, and the CUSD stablecoin as the Canton Network’s native stable asset.[5][1][8]
Send is designed to bridge conventional payment applications and blockchain infrastructure, moving value through everyday payments, international transfers, and a set of connected products.[4] The platform targets both individuals seeking financial access without a bank account and businesses that need confidential transactions.[1] According to Send, users need only a smartphone and an internet connection to access instant cross-border payments, stablecoin savings, and privacy-preserving financial services through the Send App PWA and native iOS and Android applications.[1][5]
A defining architectural choice is that Send spans two blockchains at once. The company states it combines Base for mainstream reach and speed with the privacy-first Canton Network for confidential activity, describing this as a transition toward "fully private finance."[1] In this model, Base powers high-speed transfers while Canton keeps sensitive activity confidential, with the longer-term aim of making privacy the default across all products.[1] The wider ecosystem includes Pool Party, a decentralized exchange on Canton; Send Safe, a multisignature asset storage product on Canton; and CUSD, a USD-backed stablecoin issued for Canton and positioned as the network’s native stable asset.[2][1][8]
Send’s roadmap traces a progression from token launch on Base to a multi-product suite spanning Base and Canton Network. The SEND token generation event (TGE) took place in June 2023, followed by the acquisition of key domains and rollout of Sendtags and rewards features between June and November 2023.[9] In February 2024, the project migrated its core operations to Base, and in June 2024 it launched the Send Progressive Web App, with the platform later reporting a milestone of 20,000 Sendtags registered by November 2024.[9]
In January 2025, Send executed a token upgrade that reduced SEND’s total supply from 100 billion to 1 billion.[9] During 2025 the team expanded onto Canton Network, beginning to run Canton validators between May and July, shipping Send Earn and trading features in April, and then launching Canton Wallet in September, CUSD in November, and Send Safe in December.[9][10] The 2025 year-in-review described five major product launches—Send Earn, Send Checks, Send Safe, Canton Wallet, and CUSD—as central to Send’s move toward privacy-first, stablecoin-based finance.[10]
In early 2026, Send broadened its mobile footprint and Canton-based DeFi stack. Native iOS and Android applications shipped in January 2026, and Pool Party, an AMM decentralized exchange on Canton, launched in February 2026 with trading pairs such as CC/CUSD, CC/USDCx, and USDCx/CUSD.[9][11] In June 2026, the project brought a native Base ↔ Canton bridge live through its Asset Relayer infrastructure, enabling cross-ecosystem transfers and accompanied by a published Base-to-Canton bridging guide.[9][11] Throughout 2026, Send also recorded ongoing token emission snapshots, treasury updates, and CUSD Ecosystem Fund activity as part of its public documentation.[11]
Send describes its ecosystem as a suite of products for sending, saving, and managing digital assets across Base and Canton Network.[2] These products include the consumer-facing Send App on Base, a set of Canton-native tools for confidential activity, and infrastructure components that connect the two environments.[1]
The Send App is a mobile-first application that brings privacy-focused financial tools directly to a smartphone.[2] It is offered both as a Progressive Web App at send.app and as native applications for iOS and Android, which launched in early 2026 and are described as providing full-featured, app-like performance and device-specific functionality.[5][9] Within the app, users can make instant global transfers using USDC, earn yield on USDC through savings and investment features, participate in referral rewards, and create a virtual card that can be topped up in the app and used anywhere Visa is accepted.[5][2] Send’s support documentation describes an initial setup flow in which users create a Send account, configure a profile, and access a dashboard that summarizes balances and presents core actions such as sending, saving, and managing assets.[13] Access is secured with passkeys tied to device biometrics or passcodes, and users can claim human-readable Sendtags that act as usernames for receiving payments instead of sharing wallet addresses.[5]
Send Safe is a multisignature storage product built on Canton Network that requires multiple approvers to authorize transfers.[1] It is positioned as a non-custodial, approval-based multisig with passkey security, where settlement remains private by default because transactions are executed on Canton’s confidential ledger.[1][10] Send highlights Send Safe for teams and treasuries that want to manage assets without single-key risk while retaining transaction privacy.[10]
Canton Wallet, also referred to as Send on Canton, is described as a Canton-native wallet experience for holding, sending, and managing assets on Canton Network.[2] It is one of the products Send built as it expanded into the Canton ecosystem and was listed alongside Send Safe, Pool Party, and CUSD in the project’s 2025 review of shipped products.[10] Canton Wallet is used to access confidential transfers and other Canton-based applications, with Send Connect acting as a browser extension to link the wallet to Canton decentralized applications.[2]
Pool Party is an automated market maker (AMM) decentralized exchange deployed on Canton Network.[9] It went live in February 2026 with documented trading pairs such as CC/CUSD, CC/USDCx, and USDCx/CUSD, and later received dedicated documentation for liquidity pairs.[11] Pool Party is described as providing swaps and liquidity for Canton-native assets, including CUSD and Canton Coin, and forms part of the infrastructure for trading and price discovery within the Canton ecosystem.[2][8]
Asset Relayer is Send’s infrastructure for moving assets between Base and Canton, including a native Base ↔ Canton bridge that went live in June 2026.[9][11] Documentation describes the Canton Bridge as allowing assets to move across both ecosystems, with a published bridging guide explaining Base-to-Canton transfers.[11] Asset Relayer and the bridge are intended to connect Send’s Base-based app and liquidity with Canton’s privacy-preserving environment.[6]
CUSD is a USD-backed stablecoin described as the native stable asset of the Canton ecosystem.[8] It is issued 1:1 against USD reserves by Brale, which handles compliance, monitoring, and minting and redemption, while Send acts as product owner and distributor integrating CUSD across its products.[8] CUSD supports confidential transfers and selective disclosure on Canton Network and is used within Send, Send Safe, and Pool Party, with reserve economics flowing into a CUSD Ecosystem Fund that supports builder grants, partnerships, and liquidity.[8]
Send is positioned around everyday payments, savings, and treasury operations for individuals and organizations. The Send App supports global payments by allowing users to send USDC across borders in seconds using Sendtags and passkey-secured accounts, while CUSD enables similar use on Canton Network with confidential transfers.[5][8] Savings and yield are offered through Send Earn and related features, which route stablecoins into yield-bearing vaults so users can earn on idle USDC with on-demand withdrawals.[10][7]
Send also supports social and link-based transfers through Send Links and Send Checks, allowing users to send funds via shareable links or check-style transfers without requiring the recipient to already have a Send account.[7][10] For organizations and DAOs, Send Safe provides multisignature treasury management on Canton, combining passkey access with approval-based workflows and private settlement.[1][10] On Canton, CUSD is used for private stablecoin activity, including holding balances, conducting confidential payments, and trading against Canton Coin and USDCx on Pool Party.[8][11]
$SEND is an ERC-20 utility token on the Base network and is described as "the engine of the Send ecosystem."[3][1] It is used within the platform to pay for Sendtag registration, participate in reward distributions, and take part in governance within the Send platform, and Send states that it is not an investment product and does not represent equity, ownership, or any claim on revenue or profits.[3] The project also positions SEND as an incentive layer through which users can earn tokens for participation and referral programs as the network grows.[3]
The total supply is 1 billion SEND, following a token upgrade that reduced supply from 100 billion to 1 billion in January 2025.[3][9] Send reported a circulating supply of 355.4 million SEND as of August 1, 2026, representing 35.54% of total supply in its emission snapshots.[3][11]
SEND is available for swapping within the Send App on Base and on Aerodrome, a decentralized exchange on Base where it is listed in a SEND/USDC pair.[3] Documentation states that SEND is live on Base and planned to become available on Canton Network, with Pool Party and Temple on Canton marked as "coming soon" for SEND trading.[3] The token is presented as a utility mechanism for access and governance within the ecosystem rather than as an instrument of financial return.[3]
Public materials describe Send as having raised $690,000 across four funding rounds.[10] By May 2025, the project reported a treasury of approximately $200,000, after which it began running validator nodes on Canton Network to generate non-dilutive revenue.[10] Validator income, combined with product launches and on-chain operations, contributed to a treasury that reached about $3.97 million by January 2026, measured across stablecoins, protocol-owned liquidity, and fiat.[10]
The same review notes that Send executed around $500,000 in SEND token buybacks and added approximately $800,000 in protocol-owned liquidity over 2025, while also completing a $3 million over-the-counter sale of tokens.[10] Beginning in 2026, documentation introduced regular treasury snapshots, monthly revenue data, and liquidity adjustments as ongoing operational metrics rather than as new external funding rounds, and this reporting continues through 2026.[11]
