TEAMZ Web3 Summit is a series of web3 events mainly taking place in Japan. The 2024 edition is set to take place from April 13th to 14th, with the addition of AI as a theme. ^[1]

TEAMZ Web3 / AI Summit 2024

The TEAMZ WEB3/AI SUMMIT 2024 builds upon the TEAMZ WEB3 SUMMIT 2023, a notable event in the Japanese Web3 industry. The 2024 edition focuses on WEB3 and AI, aiming to explore the potential integration of web3 and AI, such as applying blockchain to AI training data and utilizing AI analysis in DeFi lending protocols. It provides a platform for industry experts to discuss and share knowledge on the synergy between these technologies. ^[1]

TEAMZ Web3 Summit 2023

The TEAMZ Web3 Summit 2023 took place at Toranomon Hills in Tokyo during May 17th and May 18th. During the two days, there were 13 keynote speeches, 16 panel discussions, pitch contests, and more web3 related sessions. Sponsors included Aster Network, Coinhouse Accelerator, Gari Network, Alibaba Cloud, Stepn, Vive Originals, Lootadog, Hashport, Unemeta, among others. ^[2]

In this edition, 65 sponsors, 89 speakers, and more than 4,500 attendees participated in the event. Additionally, over 300 VIP guests attended the Red Carpet Gala. ^[2]

Speakers included Tim Draper, Masaaki Taira, Tianyu Yang, Yoshiaki Ueno, Yuzo Kano, Shinpei Matsushita, among others. Topics such as web3 investments by VC funds, code auditing and security, community strategies, intersection of AI and web3, regional revitalization, entertainment, the role of major Japanese companies, and the role of exchanges were covered. ^[2]

TEAMZ Blockchain Summit 2019

TEAMZ Blockchain Summit 2019 took place on April 6th and 7th at Toranomo Hills in Tokyo. During the event 35 VCs and funds, 24 exhibition booths, 75 speakers, and more than 3000 attendees joined. TEAMZ Blockchain Conference 2019

TEAMZ Blockchain Conference 2019 took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from June 13th to 14th. More than 1500 people attended from countries like Japan, US, China, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Sponsors included Minebest, Tron Game Global, Quras, Uck Network, and Skyhash. ^[2]

TEAMZ Blockchain Summit 2018

The 2018 edition took place from September 27th to October 1st. ^[2]

The summit commenced with Eikiko Wada, the founding partner of Crypto Research, joining the founder and CEO of TEAMZ Yang, Tianyu, for its launch. The lineup of presenters and panel members featured notable figures such as Charles Hoskinson, CEO of IOHK, who delivered an engaging talk on "The Arc of History." Roger Ver, CEO of Bitcoin.com, presented a video speech on "How Digital Currency Will Change the World." Terrada Warehouse introduced the innovative "Mini Warehouse" concept for convenient enterprise storage space services. Masafumi Shimizu, Founder & CEO of Nevula, enlightened the audience about online and offline blockchain gaming platforms. Other distinguished participants included Du Jun, Co-founder of Huobi and Founder of Node Capital; Jeffrey Wernick, Cryptocurrency Investor; Katsuya Konno, CFO of QUOINE; Makoto Takano, Editor in Chief of Forbes Japan and Founder of D4V (Design For Ventures); Nick Yang Ning, Founder of Lebox Capital; Sawako Ono, CEO of AnyPay; and Yin-Xiaogang, CEO of KEX. ^[3]
