History
The Rollup was established in 2020 by Robbie Klages and Andy C under the name DeFi Slate. Klages studied mathematics and philosophy at the University of Florida and became involved in the crypto industry in 2016. He has since participated in industry conferences as both an attendee and speaker. Andy C previously worked in online marketing before becoming involved in the blockchain sector. As the platform's coverage expanded beyond DeFi to other areas of blockchain technology and digital finance, DeFi Slate was rebranded as The Rollup.[2]

The Rollup produces a podcast covering topics including Ethereum, DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, and digital assets. Episodes include interviews with industry participants, including Jesse Pollak and Haseeb Qureshi, on topics related to Ethereum and digital asset markets. [3]
