Education

Fitzgerald studied at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 2014 to 2019, completing degrees in mechatronic engineering and computer science. Career

Fitzgerald began his career in software engineering and academic roles while studying at university. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a software engineering intern at AirTree Ventures, followed by a software engineering internship at WhatsApp in 2018. Between 2017 and 2019, he also worked as a casual academic at the University of New South Wales and served as a mentor for the Founders for Founders program from 2018 to 2021.

In 2019, Fitzgerald joined Meta as a software engineer, working in the San Francisco Bay Area until 2021. In the same year, he co-founded , where he helped develop decentralized derivatives infrastructure and later served in an advisory role beginning in 2026.
