RWUSD is a flexible-term yield product offered by Binance that records a user’s subscribed assets and accrued rewards within Binance’s accounts. It is not a stablecoin, security, fund, tokenized real-world asset, or on-chain asset, and it gives users no rights to the real-world assets used to generate yield.[1][2]
Users subscribe with eligible stablecoins at a 1:1 rate and receive the corresponding amount of RWUSD in their Binance Spot Account. Qualified global users can subscribe with USDT or U, while eligible users in the European Economic Area can subscribe with USDC. Subscriptions are available through master accounts and subaccounts and are subject to personal and product-wide limits. A balance of at least 0.01 RWUSD is required to accrue rewards.[1] [4]
Binance says yield comes from its operations, including investments in real-world assets and fixed-income products. These include tokenized U.S. Treasury bills and other tokenized U.S. Treasury and fixed-income products managed by partners such as BlackRock, Circle, and Franklin Templeton. Binance sets the reward annual percentage rate (APR) at its discretion, using prevailing institutional yield rates as a benchmark and considering market conditions and product sustainability.[1][2]
Users can redeem RWUSD at any time. On successful redemption, Binance returns USDC to the user’s Spot Account at a 1:1 rate, less applicable fees.[1][2]
Binance offers two redemption methods. Fast Redemption returns USDC instantly and charges a fee of 0.1% of the redemption amount. Binance may periodically provide a personal daily quota that partially waives this fee; its product page lists a quota of 100 RWUSD. Standard Redemption charges a 0.05% fee and returns USDC by 10:00 a.m. on the third day after the request, or T+3. Personal and product-level daily redemption quotas apply and reset at 00:00 Coordinated Universal Time.[1] [4]
