a KID called BEAST
a KID called BEAST is a collection of 10,000 Non Fungible Token, comprised of 20 factions of 500 characters, aka beasts living on the Ethereum blockchain. It aims to build a "connected culture" in web3 by merging music, fashion, collectibles, NFTs, and more. AKCB was released in 2022 by 4 co-founders identified as Rafsby, Caleb Smiler, Krad, and Nick.[1][2]
On the 21 of January 2023, the AKCB’s Twitter account was hacked and the hackers began sending fake minting addresses. It was believed that the same people who hacked AKCB also hacked Azuki draining NFTs worth over 500ETH.[3]
On the 28 of January 2023, AKCB recorded a total trading volume of over 5K Eth in Opensea alone.[4]
Overview
It is an Ethereum-based augmented reality NFT project that serves as the intersection between art, fashion, music, and technology, which bridges physical and digital culture. Each beasts work in individual neighborhoods called beasthoods and their purpose is to foster communities of like-minded individuals.
The inspiration behind the collection was said to be drawn from a large host of cultural icons from across music, art, and fashion. Some of these include names and ips like Bart Simpson, Mickey Mouse, Looney Tunes, KAWS, Virgil Abloh, Tom Ford, Jerry Lorenzo, Demna Gvasalia, and many others.
“Our goal is to create unique limited physical pieces that can be adorned in real life or their digital form on their characters. Being able to rock a physical version out while a digital version online is cool but having the digital version not only act as an avatar but also as a proof of authentication, legitimacy, origin, or history of that limited item makes it that much cooler,” Rafsby explained.
The brand also hopes to offer other physical goods in the future, including clothing, accessories, and toys that have potential customization aspects unique to collector token traits. AKCB has also shared that it will encourage and support collectors to create their own goods utilizing their AKCB intellectual property
BeastSwap
need to swap out any Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Fantom, Avalanche, Cronos, or Doge without needing a centralized exchange can do so at the best price with the lowest gas fees.
The platform came to life after seeing major crypto exchanges go down.
We hate seeing or hearing about anyone getting rekt so we want to educate collectors in the space on decentralized finance and offer them tools to conduct trades or swaps at their convenience, at the best possible price, from multiple liquidity pools, and without having to go through a centralized crypto exchange.”
