BearX is a collection of 3,700 Genesis Bears Non-fungible tokens (NFT) - unique digital collectibles living on the Ethereum blockchain. Each BearX is unique in its own way, featuring different traits from breed, eyewear and clothing to name a few. The BearX also generate ROOTx token to the tune of 10 per day^[1].

On November 16, BearX announced an absolutely face-melting partnership with Binance. This partnership between them is huge. This is Binance’s first long-tail NFT partnership.Binance tweeted on their twitter handle about the partnership^[2].

ROOTx Token

ROOT token is the token for the BearX ecosystem. At its inception, ROOT is seen as a utility token for the BearX collection. ROOT is a cryptocurrency on the Ethereum chain, with a key focus of rewarding long term holders of the token and holders of BearX NFTs.

The ROOT tokenomics are built to reward holders every single time a transaction occurs, alongside a daily reward if one holds a BearX Non-Fungible Token (NFT).
ROOT is also the governance token for BearX, and will be used to carry out proposals and voting throughout their roadmap. More to this, it will be a key driver to the spend of the community fund wallet for the BearX ecosystem.

The creators have seen a crazy rise in search results on both Twitter, Discord and Google, and are overwhelmed with the growth that has seen them grow to over 125,000 followers in about 10 days.

BearWorld

Bearworld is a voxel metaverse for BearX holders, with interoperable accessories and rewards that can be used in multiple worlds, namely the Sandbox. This is a world that has the ability for all owners of BearVX NFTs to live, interact and battle in the world, with competing benefits of utility for ROOT, SROOT, and the NFTs that is owned.

This is where members can interact with other Bears, other project characters, take part in challenges, and fight in the bearX games for ROOT, Sandbox and other cool rewards.

Incubation Station

Incubation station are 5,300 incubators that will cost 1000 ROOT + the need for 2 Gen BearX in the owners wallet. These incubators remain as the NFT that will appear on OpenSea until the 3rd January for which then, 5,300 MiniBearX NFTs will be revealed^[3].

The benefit of the incubation station is by owning a MiniBearX, a holder receive a free BearVX. The creator will launch 5,300 incubators into the BearX world. Simply, this is 5,300 incubators that will eventually grow into their own unique MiniBearX.

BearX x OVR: Christmas Treasure Hunt

A Christmas AR experience where BearX owners will go head to head to compete for ROOT, Bears, and other NFTs. This will take place in the real world and see Bears use an app to look and hunt for a 3D BearVX. The top 1 in the leaderboard wins 500 ROOT + 2 Bears.

The rest of the top 5 of leaderboard — wins 300 ROOT + 1 Bear The Christmas Treasure Hunt is essentially a game that takes place by downloading an app, and hunting through the local area for the AR bearVX. It works very similar to Pokémon, whereby all one need is a phone to look around and find the bear before everyone else.

SROOT TOKEN

The launch of SROOT Token. SROOT is the shortened name for SUPER ROOT — the second token launched in the BearX ecosystem. SROOT provides an added value in the BearX ecosystem through access to the 7 figure DAO that is being built. Besides winning it or buying it on the market, you can gain SROOT from doing any of the following:

Burning ROOT (1 ROOT = 5 SROOT)
Being a 1/1 Holder (600 SROOT a day) or owner of 5+ Bears (200 SROOT a day)

Bear VX is a collection of 10,000 BearVX (VOX Bears), for the metaverse. These BearVX characters are each completely unique. They are available to those with MiniBearX NFTs. Owning s BearVX gets you direct access into BEARWORLD, and a bonafide character of value to use in different metaverses in 2022. It also gives you an ability to purchase customisable items for your Bear too!

Cross BearX Games

BearX Games acts as the battle arena for all voxel characters (Bears and other characters). Situated in the bearX arena, it acts as a fighting game (with a typical health bar for each bear).

Only those with golden axes can fight. Before the fight you can you agree your stakes with your opponent. The winner gets the respective prizes.For the first time ever too, this gives a true voxel battle where any project can step in and fight any bear. Bears can ‘upgrade’ with added customization options further down the line to help their chances when fighting.

The benefit of Cross BearX games is once players compete in the BearX games and players get to win prizes and rewards.

Buyers of BearX NFTs on the Binance exchange get unique perks. There will be partnered marketing between BearX and Binance on various social media platforms.

This partnership inspired a lot of NFT holders to mint more BearX NFTs in response to this news because the floor was getting absolutely obliterated.

BearX Labs x OVR

BearX labs in partnership with OVR launched a Christmas game hunt. It was hosted on their partners platform — OVR. The BearX Christmas Treasure Hunt started on 11 December 2021. It was a 2 week long competition where players go up against other BearX holders with the chance to win some great prizes these holidays. The was a total prize pool of well over $5000 USD worth of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) to be won. The rules were to simply find and collect as many bears as they can before the deadline. The more they collect the more points they get.

BearX fake-mint scam attack

The BearX community recently suffered a fake-mint scam attack.he strength of the BearX community — as well as its leadership — was proven in its response to a vicious Discord + Twitter hack and fake-mint scam attack that took place the last week of October.

Essentially, the BearX Discord and Twitter was taken over by hackers who claimed that the public mint had started.These hackers then blasted out hundreds of announcements in the Discord with a scam website where victims were tricked into sending Ethereum to the scammer’s wallet in hopes of minting a bear.

This was unfortunate, but the project’s leadership namely, the BearX creator Akeem Ojuko stepped in and asked those of us on the whitelist if they would be OK with increasing the whitelist mint price from 0.035 ETH to 0.05 ETH with the difference going to compensating the victims of the scam.

The majority of individuals voted in favor of this idea, and after that many reports were made from the victims indicating that they have been compensated for their losses.

Akeem is the creator and founder of BearX. He proved his leadership abilities during the fake mint scam attack as his response to a vicious Discord + Twitter hack and fake-mint scam attack that took place the last week of October.
