Delysium
Delysium is a decentralized and scalable framework for AI agents that enables users to create their own AI-Twins. These AI-Twins can gradually develop their unique personality and functionality through constant interactions allowing users to connect more efficiently and participate in various experiences in a Virtual Society. Delysium was co-founded by Yuheng Chan, Queena Tsai, Yan Zhang, and others in 2021. [1][2][3]
Background
According to the team, the background of Delysium is set in 2045 when human beings discover land in the decentralized virtual world and name it “Delysium”, igniting a conflict between real humans and AI Virtual Beings. In Delysium, digitized real human beings are living with AI Virtual Beings, who are native residents born in Metaverse. Throughout a series of battles and struggles about interests, power, and resources, it is entirely up to the player to decide what the future of Delysium will be. [4]
Offering cyberpunk aesthetics and an open-world MMORPG format, Delysium provides diverse gameplay experiences. Players can earn loot boxes containing tokens, NFTs, and resources, which they can trade or use to upgrade characters and weapons. All in-game assets, including AI Virtual Beings, are customizable and can be traded or upgraded through crafting. Additionally, players can create their own narrative content using AI-powered AI Virtual Beings. [4]
Overview
Led by CEO and Founder, Yuheng Chan, Delysium offers a simplified architecture designed to support an advanced AI-Agent Network and its ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and fast communication.
This architecture consists of two main layers: the Communication Layer (also known as the Fundamental Layer) and the Blockchain Layer. Within these layers, the broader ecosystem—including the community, development, and interaction of AI Agents—is integrated. [3]
The Communication Layer
The Communication Layer, or Fundamental Layer, is the backbone of the network, providing a secure and scalable infrastructure that enables efficient communication among AI Agents. This layer incorporates a suite of unified communication protocols that standardize interactions, service discovery, interface definitions, and addressing systems, all supported by comprehensive software development kits (SDKs) for easy integration. [3]
The Blockchain Layer
The Blockchain Layer serves as the governance core, ensuring the ethical behavior of agents and the trustworthiness of services, while also offering user control interfaces. It employs blockchain technology to bring transparency and decentralization to the ecosystem, facilitating open access to data and reinforcing trust through source verification. [3]
Funding Rounds
In March 2022, Delysium completed its first round of private-sale of over $4 million, led by Galaxy Interactive and Republic Crypto with Anthos Capital, Bas1s Ventures, Eureka Meta Capital, Y2Z Ventures, Tess Ventures, Infinity Ventures Crypto, Lucid Blue Ventures, Unix Gaming, Ancient8, PathDAO, YGG SEA, Mask Network, Smrti Lab, Metasense DAO and other institutions participating in the investment. The funding was set to be used to support the game production and ecosystem. [4]
In October 2022, Delysium announced a $10 million strategic funding round led by LA-based VC Anthos Capital with participation from Immutable, GSR, Blockchain Coinvestors, Leonis Capital, Plancker DAO, Antalpha Ventures(Bitmain’s venture arm), Perion and Formless Capital. [5]
"The strategic funding will be used primarily to develop the content, enable unique AI-powered experiences, and build out the Delysium Multiverse, an open-source & decentralized publishing structure for web3 games."[5]
Lucy
On December 31, 2023, Delysium introduced Lucy, the operating system at the heart of the “YKILY” AI Agent Network. Lucy, first released in April 2023, was initially confined to the Metaverse. [10]
“Lucy aims to turn Web2 users today, into Web3 super users tomorrow.” - Yannick (Co-Founder)
Lucy enables the creation of crypto-workflows by connecting apps and dApps on platforms like Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) using natural language understanding. Users can communicate with Lucy in natural language, and it autonomously formulates strategies to meet their objectives. Future enhancements include adding hearing and vision capabilities for a more immersive user experience. [11]
As an Operating System[12], Lucy acts as the central hub for accessing various distinct Agents in the network, each with specialized functions. Key features include a trading agent for monitoring token contracts, a DEX aggregator agent for efficient transaction routes, and an information agent for targeted updates. [10][11]
DMA
Delysium Multiverse Accelerators (DMA) is a foundational membership to select, vote, and interact with each part of the AI-powered OpenWorld Framework in Delysium. [13]
The framework is built upon two core pillars: Delysium AI & Decentralized Publishing Protocol. Among this whole framework, users who hold Delysium Multiverse Accelerators (DMA) enjoy exclusive perks and privileges, including but not limited to $AGI-based revenue share from the ecosystem, early access to all kinds of AI applications & airdrop opportunities, prior rights to join each Web3 content published by decentralized publishing protocol, etc. [13]
AGI Token
The native token on the Delysium ecosystem, $AGI is designed to operate across Ethereum and BNB Chain with a capped supply of 3 billion. [6]
The token is used to foster a cohesive community and is aimed at harmonizing the interests of developers, users, governors, investors, and all contributors. [6]
Our vision is to encapsulate the entirety of the platform's value within this singular token, ensuring that every stakeholder's success is intertwined with the success of $AGI.[6]
Utility
The $AGI token plays a pivotal role in maintaining the network. It is used in the payment of network maintenance fees, for agent registration, to access essential services within the network, such as proprietary algorithms, specialized data sets, etc., for dynamic scaling, and for inter-agent transactions. [6]
57% of the total supply of $AGI was allocated to the Treasury, 28% to the Team, 18% for Strategic Sale, 18% for Private Sale, 2% for Market Maker, and 1% for Airdrops. [7]
Partnership
Delysium x Google Cloud
In September 2023, Delysium became an integral part of Google Cloud’s AI & Web3 Startups Program. [8]
"Together, we’re determined to dismantle traditional Web3 barriers, ensuring that an AI-driven Web3 isn’t just a concept but a tangible reality. With the combined expertise of both teams, we’re poised to drive innovation and redefine the boundaries of AI in the Web3 ecosystem and ultimately how we interact with it."
Delysium is collaborating with Google on their Web3 products and roadmap. They are also among the first to field-test Google Cloud Web3 products, ensuring they’re refined and optimized before general release. [8]
Delysium x Microsoft
In November 2023, Delysium announced a partnership with Microsoft to streamline the user experience when interacting with the blockchain and to bring the benefits of AI on blockchain into the mainstream. The collaboration will leverage Delysium’s AI Agent Network which allows different AI agents to securely share data and exponentially increase their collective intelligence over time. This network provides key advantages: security, efficiency, and human alignment — ultimately positively serving humans by freeing up time to shape a better world while the AI agents take care of the majority of the day-to-day activities. [9]
“Blockchain is made for AI, and AI is made for humans. Our collaboration is poised to utilize Microsoft’s immense cloud capabilities and OpenAI’s innovative AI models, which we believe can uplift humanity when used responsibly.” - Delysium’s co-founder Yannick[9]
