Dogelon Mars is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains. The token has no specific utility other than purchasing and storing in a wallet like MetaMask. ^[3][4]

On January 9, 2024, Dogelon Mars released its apparel line called "Dogelon Apparel Edition 1". It is a collection by Dogelon Mars, for the Martian community. ^[6]

Tokenomics

The total supply of ELON is one quadrillion tokens. Out of this, 50% of the tokens were sent to Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, to burn them and effectively remove them from circulation. This move mirrored a strategy previously deployed by Shiba Inu, with the intent to reduce the project’s circulating supply and draw attention to its projects. ^[5]

Buterin gifted his ELON tokens to several charities, with the Methuselah Foundation being the largest recipient. The foundation promised to hold the tokens for a year and use any future sales to advance their humanitarian goals. ^[5]

The remaining ELON tokens are permanently locked in the liquidity pool. ^[4]
