Namkyun Yoon

Namkyun Yoon is a South Korean blockchain professional whose career has included finance, growth, and business-development roles. Since May 2024, he has been Vice President of Growth at Startale Group.^[1][2] Startale’s team page lists NK Yoon as Head of Business Development.^[6]

Education

Yoon studied at Seoul National University from 2012 to 2018 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude.^[1]​^[2] He attended Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies from 2009 to 2012.^[1]​^[2]​

Career

Yoon worked as a Summer Analyst at JPMorganChase in Seoul from June to August 2017, then as an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Seoul from March 2018 to April 2022.^[1]​^[2]​

In April 2022, he became Head of Finance at OnePlanet, whose non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace operates on Polygon. He held the role until October 2022, when he joined Polygon Labs as Senior Manager of Enablement. He remained there until May 2024.^[1]​^[2]​

Yoon joined Startale Group as Vice President of Growth in May 2024. Startale develops onchain products including Soneium, Startale App, and Astar Network.^[1]​^[2]​

In a November 11, 2025, Startale interview, Yoon described his remit as spanning business development, partnerships, and growth strategy across the company’s products. He highlighted growth of the Soneium Layer 2 network and Startale’s consumer products and infrastructure. He also discussed Startale’s collaboration with SBI Group on financial products involving real-world-asset tokenization and a 24/7 trading platform, and connecting those offerings with consumer products such as Startale App.^[8]​
