NOXO
NOXO is the utility and governance token of NOXCAT, a self-custodial Web3 wallet and decentralized-finance (DeFi) ecosystem built on the BNB Chain. The token is used to participate in the platform's community governance and to access selected functions within the NOXCAT application, and it holds a place among the DeFi tokens tracked in the BNB Chain ecosystem.[1][2] NOXO reached its current form after the project rebranded from Noxcat (NOX) to NOXO and migrated from its original smart contract to a new one.[2]

Overview
NOXCAT describes itself as an open financial ecosystem that combines secure self-custody, decentralized financial protocols, and community governance into a single platform intended for everyday finance.[4] The project is built on the stated principles of openness and interoperability, and it aims to give both end users and developers tools to own, manage, exchange, and grow digital assets across multiple blockchain networks.[4] It is presented as a modular system in which wallets, financial protocols, and governance function together, so that users can reach the decentralized economy through one application rather than juggling several wallets and tools.[4] The public-facing brand carries the tagline "Feel Nothing, Do Everything."[5]
NOXCAT's architecture separates user-facing applications from the underlying protocol infrastructure, a design the project's documentation highlights as important for serving both end users and developers.[4] The project describes its financial protocols as reusable infrastructure that can be integrated by developers, applications, and other blockchain ecosystems without rebuilding core financial primitives such as staking, settlement, arbitration, or governance.[4] According to the project, this division is meant to serve two complementary audiences at once: users seeking a simple financial experience that does not sacrifice ownership or transparency, and developers seeking open building blocks they can compose into their own applications.[4]
NOXCAT Wallet
The central application in the ecosystem is the NOXCAT Wallet, described in the project's documentation as a secure, socially enabled wallet intended for everyday finance.[4] It combines self-custody, multi-chain asset management, social connectivity, and decentralized financial services into one application, and on the LBank and MEXC descriptions it is characterized as a self-custodial wallet that provides access to digital-asset management, DeFi tools, and other on-chain services through a unified interface.[4][3]
In July 2026, NOXCAT Wallet Beta was launched as the ecosystem’s main user-facing gateway, adding Magic Link social login via Google, Apple, or email alongside an MPC-based security architecture that incorporates Claude Security and assigns each user a unique NOXCAT UID for identity across the application.[9] The beta design emphasizes peer-to-peer encrypted chat, social transfers routed by contact or UID instead of raw addresses, and integrated access to NOXCAT Escrow and staking functions as part of the wallet feature set, without treating these as guarantees of financial returns.[9]
The documentation lists the specific capabilities the wallet offers to users:
- managing assets across multiple blockchains and sending or receiving digital assets;[4]
- trading cryptocurrencies and tokenized real-world assets;[4]
- participating in staking and decentralized finance;[4]
- completing trustless peer-to-peer transactions through on-chain escrow;[4]
- connecting with friends through integrated social features.[4]
Third-party descriptions on MEXC and LBank add that the wallet interface also supports on-chain escrow, collateralized lending, social communication, and other blockchain-based financial tools within the same application.[1][3]
Protocols and DeFi
Behind the wallet, NOXCAT comprises a collection of open financial protocols intended to power the ecosystem and serve as infrastructure that other applications can integrate.[4] The documentation names four current protocol components, each addressing a distinct function:
- Staking System — a transparent on-chain issuance and incentive framework;[4]
- Escrow Protocol — trust-minimized settlement for peer-to-peer transactions;[4]
- Validation Network — decentralized arbitration and protocol security;[4]
- Governance — community-driven protocol evolution and economic coordination.[4]
Within this structure, NOXCAT Escrow uses smart contracts to lock buyer funds until delivery is confirmed and, when disputes occur, assigns cases to a randomly selected panel of validators who vote on the outcome through the validation and arbitration mechanism.[4][9][8]
Together these protocols are presented as a foundation for building decentralized financial applications while maintaining transparency, security, and composability, so that new products can be assembled from existing settlement, arbitration, and incentive layers.[4] The project's documentation is organized into four sections mirroring this structure — an overview titled "What is NOXCAT," the "NOXCAT Wallet" section on wallet features, "NOXCAT DeFi" covering the open protocols, and a "Governance" section on how the ecosystem evolves.[4]
Governance and Token Utility
Governance in NOXCAT is designed to be community-driven, and the token — referenced in the documentation as NOX and traded under the symbol NOXO after the rebrand — is the instrument through which holders participate. The governance framework covers proposal mechanisms and protocol decision-making, giving token holders a role in how the ecosystem changes over time and how its economic parameters are coordinated.[4][1] According to the governance documentation, NOX/NOXO is intended to be used both to bring forward governance proposals and to take part in decisions on protocol evolution, linking token ownership to the processes that direct upgrades, parameter changes, and broader ecosystem development.[4] Public materials state that foundation-held tokens are excluded from governance voting during the transition to fully on-chain governance, an approach presented as limiting concentrated control in early stages.[8]
Alongside governance, NOXO carries transactional utility within the platform. Described use cases include arbitrage trading, earning returns through lending or Earn products, and sending or paying by transferring NOXO directly to a recipient address.[3] The token's role as both a utility and governance asset ties its function to the wallet's broader set of services, from staking to on-chain settlement.[1]
Tokenomics
Exchange listings report a fixed token supply for NOXO. LBank states that the total and maximum supply are 166,666,666 tokens, and records the same figure for total supply.[3] MEXC describes the total, maximum, and circulating supply as aligned and rounds this value to approximately 166.67 million tokens, indicating that the circulating supply matches the full supply at present.[1]
Public sources do not provide a detailed breakdown of NOXO's token distribution, allocation by category, or a formal vesting schedule, and neither the exchange listings nor the available project documentation present a fixed allocation chart. Instead, secondary coverage of the ecosystem's economics focuses on the role of on-chain staking: NOXCAT has stated that 94% of the total NOX supply is distributed through staking contracts, with rewards emitted automatically by smart contracts, which emphasizes ongoing on-chain distribution over a predefined allocation table.[8]
Token History and Trading
NOXO originated as Noxcat, trading under the ticker NOX, before the project rebranded and moved to a new smart contract on the BNB Chain. An earlier NOXCAT (NOX) token existed on the Arbitrum One network under the contract address 0xb23bB8c2C6Cb9169eeaC8f2Bd42fcf333A1a8C55, providing the prior token contract for the project before the migration.[7] In early September 2026, the project rebranded Noxcat (NOX) to NOXO and migrated from the old contract to the current address on BNB Chain, a change summarized in CoinGecko's description of the token migration.[2]
Trading of NOXO takes place primarily on decentralized exchanges. CoinGecko identifies PancakeSwap (v2), a decentralized exchange on the BNB Chain, as the most active venue for the token, with its principal market being the NOXO/BSC-USD pair.[2] A NOXO/USDT liquidity pool on PancakeSwap V2 was created on 28 August 2026 on BNB Chain and has been the main on-chain venue for NOXO trading since the rebrand.[10][2] Coverage on the exchange LBank notes that the platform does not support trading or services for the token, meaning NOXO's liquidity has centered on decentralized rather than centralized venues.[6]
