Wes Parkinson is the Co-Founder of Rare Evo, a blockchain gathering of industry experts and projects for a weekend of education and networking. He is in charge of Partner Engagement for the event. ^[1][2]

Education

Wes has a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems with a minor in Business and Marketing from Ohio University. ^[2]

Career

In July 2012, Parkinson joined Hyland as a Lead Solution Consultant for Global Healthcare Services. His certifications include OnBase Certified Installer (OCI), Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA), AIIM ECMp, and OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator. ^[2]

Rare Evo

Wes Parkinson co-founded Rare Evo alongside Rand McHenry, Evan Fischer, and Nathan Mantia in June 2021. Rare Evo is a collection of like-minded, highly active blockchain advocates with the shared goal of hosting Web3 events. ^[2][3]

The latest Rare Evo convention is set to take place from August 15th - August 17th, 2024. Thursday the 15th will consist of exhibitor build-out in the expo hall during the afternoon while hosting a pre-event party (accessible to only VIP ticket holders, Special Guests, and Sponsors) in the evening. Friday (16th) and Saturday (17th) will be two full days of keynote speeches, panels, workshops, expos, and entertainment. ^[3]

The event will be hosted at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas featuring over nine restaurants, a spa, seven pools, and a Casino experience. It is located at 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Paradise, NV 89109.
