Xphere's native token, XP, is integral to network operations, serving as the medium for transaction fees, staking, rewards, and governance participation. The maximum supply is capped at 5.5 billion XP, of which 1.5 billion were pre-distributed to maintain continuity from Xphere 1.0. The remaining 4 billion XP are scheduled to be issued over a century, following a deflationary model that reduces annual emission by 26.28%. [7]
Transaction fees follow a unique split: 50% of every transaction fee is burned to create deflationary pressure, while the remaining amount is divided among the network's Union Validators, miners, and the foundation. [4]
Governance
The Xphere Union acts as the main governance body, comprising validators who vote on network proposals.
