Brian Seong's higher education is distinguished by a dual-degree Master's program from the Global Innovation Exchange (GIX), a partnership between the University of Washington and Tsinghua University. Current Roles

As of April 2026, Brian Seong holds two significant concurrent positions in the blockchain industry. His role as DevRel Lead at Miden was publicly announced by the company on July 2, 2025. Miden is a project focused on developing a ZK-STARK-based rollup to scale the Ethereum network. In his capacity as DevRel Lead, Seong is responsible for leading developer relations strategy, building the developer community, and fostering engagement in preparation for the Miden mainnet launch. ^{[2] [1]}​

Concurrently, he serves as a Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Researcher at SNZ Capital, a venture capital and research firm focused on the cryptocurrency space. Past Experience

Before his current roles, Seong held positions at several key companies in the Web3 ecosystem. He was a Senior Research Engineer and Developer Relations specialist at Polygon Labs, a prominent organization contributing to Ethereum's scaling solutions. This dual role involved both deep technical research engineering and community-facing developer relations activities. ^[1]​

He also worked at Mysten Labs, the company behind the Sui blockchain, as a Developer Relations Engineer. In this position, he focused on building and supporting the developer community around the infrastructure and ecosystem being developed by Mysten Labs. ^[1]​

While completing his Master's degree, Seong participated in an MSTI Launch Project with Meta. This capstone or industry-focused project saw him take on the roles of Software Engineer and Project Manager, directly applying the skills from his Master of Science in Technology Innovation program. Earlier in his career, during his undergraduate studies, he gained experience as a Summer Intern at Betacom, where he worked on 5G network technology. ^[1]​

EduDAO

Seong is a co-founder of EduDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization focused on supporting blockchain education and innovation within universities. He initially led developer relations for the organization, working to build and connect university-based blockchain communities and organize global events.
